Donnie is a native of Landrum SC located in the beautiful upstate foothills. A long time successful local entrepreneur, and owner of highly respected Sounds By Surface. As a young man, Donnie spent time working in restaurants, and after many years away, brings his business savvy to the food service business he enjoyed working in as a kid.

Donnie is the inspiration behind the Y.U.M! concept, having lost nearly 50 lbs in his first 6 months on the meal plan.

Ed, a resident of Spartanburg, is a well known former Southeast Regional nightclub entertainer. During his 25 year entertainment career, Ed had access to the kitchens and kitchen staff in dozens of restaurants throughout the South.  With a passion for great food and cooking already firmly entrenched, Ed was able to use this restaurant access to accumulate a wealth of knowledge that has gone into the Y.U.M! Menu concept.

After decades of touting himself as "the best amateur chef you know", Ed is making the jump to professional chef, in charge of creation and production of the unique Y.U.M! Menu.

Basil Chicken

Shredded, boneless, skinless chicken prepared with fresh basil and a hint of garlic.  Served with riced cauliflower and our Garlic & Ginger Carrots.


Asian Chicken & Vegetables

Prepared with gentle Asian seasonings, fresh carrots,

celery, onion, straw mushrooms, and a hint

of lemon.  Served with cauliflower rice.

Dinner portion - adds lightly seasoned vegetable of the day.


Cajun Chicken

Bite size pieces of chicken seasoned with Cajun spices. Served with riced cauliflower and a side of seasoned broccoli.


Caprese Chicken

Chicken cutlets prepared with cherry tomatoes, garlic,

and fresh basil in a light tomato sauce, and served

with our zucchini “pasta” noodles.

Dinner portion - adds lightly seasoned vegetable of the day.


Piccata Chicken

Chicken breast cutlets lightly sauteed with mushrooms, garlic, basil, and capers.  Served with a green

vegetable of the day.

Dinner portion adds roasted yams


Chicken Stuffed Green Pepper

We've found a way to twist this timeless comfort food into health food! A roasted green bell pepper stuffed with the healthy goodness of lean chicken breast along with plentiful vegetables. Perfectly seasoned and held together with fat free cauliflower rice!


Spicy Chicken & Peppers

Chunks of chicken in a spicy garlic sauce with a variety

of peppers and onion.  Served atop soffrito rice.

Dinner portion includes our Garlic & Ginger carrots.


Classic Roasted Chicken Breast

Plump, boneless chicken breast, seasoned lightly and roasted

in the oven. Served with colorful yams, and our

Asian green beans.


Arroz con Pollo

Our healthy spin on the classic Hispanic staple. We cook our chicken in aromatic adobo seasonings, then blend the chicken with our soffrito rice, green olives and peas.

Dinner portion - adds lightly seasoned vegetable of the day.

Puttanesca Chicken

Our hearty Puttanesca sauce and healthy zucchini “pasta” noodles, tossed together with strips of perfectly

seasoned oven roasted chicken breast. A big, big meal,

with low, low calories!


Vegan Zucchini Pasta ala Puttanesca

Our hearty vegan puttanesca sauce! An Italian favorite made with San Marzano tomatoes, Kalamata black olives and garlic, and served over vegetarian zucchini “pasta” noodles.

Try it!  It's FAB!


Chili con Carne

Beans, onion, tomato and traditional chili seasoning blended with a small portion of crumbled Italian sausage.


Brunch Frittata

Tasty medley of bell peppers, onion, and a little sausage whipped together with eggs and baked until golden brown.  A 3 to 1 ratio of egg white to egg yolk is used in order to lower the fat content.  Served with a side of salsa.


Florentine Frittata

Our meatless Ftrittata, filled with hearty fresh mushrooms, spinach, and little roasted garlic and then lightly sprinkled with minced tomatoes and fat-free feta cheese.


Fajita Frittata

Fajita Frittata in the style of our Brunch Fritatta, but filled

with fajita seasoned beef and vegetables.  

Served with Pico De Gallo and salsa.


Salmon ala Puttanesca

A salmon filet seasoned and  poached along with gourmet tomatoes, then blended with our signature puttanesca sauce, and served with zucchini “pasta”noodles.

Dinner portion - adds lightly seasoned vegetable of the day.


Pan Seared Salmon

A fresh salmon filet gently seasoned and pan seared. Then dressed with a touch of lemon-rice vinegar sauce and topped with a touch of homemade tapenade. Served atop wilted baby spinach, and accompanied by roasted yams.

Dinner portion - adds lightly seasoned vegetable of the day.


Teriyaki Tuna

Beautiful cut of Ahi Tuna, pan seared and dressed with

smoky teriyaki glaze. Served with a fragrant cauliflower

rice and vegetable blend, then nestled with seasoned broccoli.


Cajun Tilapia

Filet of tilapia with Cajun seasoning, oven poached with a colorful bell pepper & onion medley, and served

over chopped broccoli.

Dinner Portion served with cauliflower rice and a vegetable blend.

Fisherman’s Stew

A slow cooked stew of cod & whitefish, carrot, onion, potato and a little spinach in a light chicken stock and tomato broth


Vietnamese Beef & Noodle Bowl

Brianna calls this her “Faux Pho.”  Classic East Asian seasonings meet tender strips of beef, and are then combined with vegetarian zucchini noodles in a flavorful beef broth!

Dinner portion  add Garlic & Ginger Carrots


Beef Fajita

Thinly sliced and marinated beef and a medley of colored bell peppers and onion. A low fat preparation with classic spicy fajita seasoning.  Served with  homemade Pico De Gallo and refried beans.

Dinner portion includes Soffrito rice.


Asian Stir Fry Beef

Thinly sliced and marinated beef stir fried along with broccoli, onion, carrot, garlic and ginger, then served atop our fresh zucchini “pasta” noodles.  

Dinner portion served with soffrito rice and Asian green beans


Hearty Beef & Mushrooms

A rich, savory stew of thinly sliced top sirloin beef and quartered fresh mushrooms served over our roasted yams.  Seasoned green beans complete the plate.


Tossed Chicken Salad

Chunks of roasted chicken tossed with fresh salad greens,

grape tomatoes, red onion and fresh mushrooms, served with

a low fat house dressing.

Greek Salad

Strips of roasted chicken seasoned with Greek seasoning and served with fresh greens, Roma tomato, and red onion. Cucumber, a pepperoncini, and a touch of feta cheese complete the plate  Served with low fat Greek salad dressing.

Roast Chicken Salad

A low fat version of classic chicken salad.  Greek yogurt and low fat mayonnaise hold together a healthy blend of celery, onion, olives, egg white and roast chicken. Served atop salad greens with our house  salad dressing.

Fruit & Yogurt Parfait

A great way to start your day!  Fresh blueberries plus freshly sliced kiwi and strawberries atop a fruity and delightful fat free yogurt, blended with low fat granola and a hint of cinnamon.
